Aloha!  

I have been teaching Zumba since 2009 and it has been life-changing. Since then I have found the strength and courage to make many much needed positive changes in all areas of my life and it has been wonderful to see that positivity spread and pass on to my students.

I cannot recommend Zumba enough to anyone who has not tried it.  I have never been a fan of the gym.  Doing the same old repetitive workout 3 to 4 times a week in a lifeless room full of machines is not my idea of fun.  Discovering Zumba has changed my perspective on working out.  It does not have to be a chore.  Working out can be so much fun.  I make sure everyone in my class is having a great time while getting a fabulous all over body toning and cardio workout. 

My classes are high-energy but very low pressure.  As in I understand that everyone’s bodies are different, we all look and move differently - there is no right or wrong way to do Zumba - it doesn't matter what shape, size or age you are. You can go fast, you can go slowly or anywhere in between - it doesn't matter.  You will get out of it what you put into it.  I can guarantee that once class is over you will be wondering where the time went and a) smiling b) sweating c) looking forward to the next class!     

I have developed many lasting relationships with my students, now good friends, over the years and it was very hard for me earlier this year when I had to say goodbye to my loyal and beautiful Winnipeg crew to leave for my new home – O’ahu, Hawaii.   But here I am and I am ready to get back into it!
